EVESHAM CC hosted a Twenty/20 tournament for Year Nine (Under-14) boys' teams from schools in Wychavon.
Pershore High School lost both qualifying games after Prince Henry's plundered 180 runs off 20 overs before bowling Pershore out for 20. Evesham High had a similar big win over Pershore with all-rounder Jack Dell outstanding.
Henry's batted first in the final when Chris Ayliffe and Joe Sentence shared an opneing partnershop of 152 in another total of 180.
When the Four Pools school replied, Jamie Annand took three wickets for five runs to ensure Prince Henry's emerged comfortable victors and winners of the Wychavon Trophy.
A feature of the tournament was the outstanding wicketkeeping of James Martin for the winners.
The tournament was organised by the Community Coach initiative of the Worcestershire CB, in conjunction with the Birmingham League club.
