ROAD closures look set to cause disruption for drivers over the coming weeks.
Worcestershire County Council is calling on residents to remove their cars and avoid Lorne Street and Lea Street before vital resurfacing work is carried out.
The road will be closed for two days from next Thursday and then reopened for the weekend before being closed on Monday, July 31 through to Thursday, August 3.
Residents have been made aware of the forthcoming works through a leaflet drop and signs will be in place.
Sally Everest, the council's network control manager, said: "It is important that residents and commuters do not park in the street and hold up this vital work and we would like to thank residents for their co-operation.
"We appreciate that road closures can be inconvenient but efforts have been made to allow the least interruption to residents as possible."
