Join the Beckford Big sing
VALE residents are being invited to sing their hearts out at Beckford village hall on Sunday where a group will be indulging in belting out 'freedom songs'
The Beckford Big Sing takes place once a month and the latest one is on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
Singers of all abilities are welcome and there is no need to be able to read music.

David pulls out the stops
AN organ recital by David Briggs is set to be held at St Peter's Church, Winchcombe, in August.
David will return to St Peter's with his renowned improvisations on themes chosen by the audience.
His career has taken him to the height of his profession known particularly for his orchestral transcriptions and his art of improvisation.
The concert, which takes place on Thursday, August 10 at 8pm, follows his appearance in the international concert series at Symphony Hall.
Rhythm and blues night
THE Fleece Inn, Bretforton, is the venue for a blues night this Thursday, the main attraction being the duo 706 Union.
The acts will be performing a wide range of material from rhythm and blues, mixed with some folk rock and contemporary music along with some of their own compositions and some popular favourites.
The evening starts at 8.30pm.
