A SALFORD Priors youngster sacrificed three weeks of her summer holiday to share her artistic talents with children at a Bosnian hospital.
Anna Tash, a York University student, set off on a trip to Bosnia on Saturday, July 1 as part of a team involved in Operation Mobilisation.
Operation Mobilisation is a project launched by American-based Geinene Carson, a Christian who specialises in customised short-term missions for individuals and groups to over 110 countries.
The missionaries carry out various projects from art workshops to educational classes for both adults and children.
For Anna, aged 19, this is her second trip to Bosnia and she was eager to rejoin the group again this year to show the children various art techniques while letting them create their own pieces of art.
"I couldn't wait to go and share some artistic techniques with the children at the Bosnian hospital," she said.
"We also held workshops in the afternoons where children could create their own drawings and paintings.
"I spent about £100 on buying a lot of art equipment such as brushes and paint so the children could create their own pieces of art."
