THE natural wonders of Wyre Forest woodland will be explained to people venturing out in two events being held on Sunday, July 30.
As part of a series of summer activities, Worcestershire Wildlife Trust is inviting families and adults to Chaddesley Wood National Nature Reserve for sessions during the morning and afternoon.
Between 10am and noon, "Wonderful Woods" will enable families to take part in a treaure trail, teaching them about birds, mammals and plants. From 2pm, the emphasis will be on tree identification for adults.
Julie Clark, access to wildlife officer, said: "You are never too old or too young to learn more about wildlife.
"We are offering the opportunity for people to experience, first hand, different woodland species in an informal and relaxed setting at Chaddesley Woods. This woodland is a fantastic place to explore, as the reserve is extremely rich with a wide range of wildlife."
There is a cost for participating and people are urged to book early, by phoning the wildlife trust on 01905 754919.
