HOTELS, conference centres and sports clubs are among 35 businesses that have teamed up to put Worcestershire on the map.
Now Conference Worcester-shire has issued a final call for others to join up.
In the past six months alone, the group has waved the flag for the county at events in London, Leeds, and as far afield as Frankfurt.
The county council-run team aims to raise Worcester-shire's profile as a business destination and also acts as
a free venue-finding service for any organisation wanting to hold a meeting, conference or product launch.
Emma Robinson, conference desk co-ordinator, is now finalising membership for the next 12 months and is asking other venues in the county to give her a call.
"Conference Worcestershire already offers a wide range of locations, from stately homes steeped in tradition and internationally recognised hotel brands, to unique educational centres and sporting venues," she said.
"However, we are always delighted to welcome new members and there are other venues out there who could benefit from being part of the larger group.
"Our advisors have an excellent in-depth knowledge of each of the member venues and can locate availability, negotiate rates and organise site visits.
"In addition, local support services and accommodation can also be recommended.
"Not only that, but by appearing at major national and international exhibitions, we are helping to raise everyone's profile."
Current members include international names such as Kidderminster's Ramada Hotel and the Hilton Bromsgrove, as well as others unique to the county, such as the Cottage in the Wood, Diglis House and Lygon Arms. Other venues -- such as Malvern Hills Science Park, Malvern Theatres, the University of Worcester and Worcester Rugby Club - highlight the diversity and
quality of the conference
centres on offer.
"We have stunning scenery and attractive towns, and, as we are right in the heart of England, Worcestershire is easily accessible to business tourism from anywhere in the country," she added.
"Conference Worcestershire is all about taking advantage of all that and letting
everyone know exactly what the county has to offer the business client."
