I KNEW nothing of Evesham Hospital when I read your recent article but have since been a patient there.
What a wonderful hospital, spotlessly clean, bright and airy, the staff very friendly, helpful and sympathetic and I speak as someone who refused heart surgery in a big London hospital which was filthy and the staff surly and rude.
Whoever said "the people of Evesham deserve better", must mean a huge modern hospital without any natural light and so many staff no-one knows anyone else.
Of course it's nothing to do with the current debate but I wonder how many executive houses could be built on the Evesham Hospital site? I only ask...
