AN audience of over 100 people were entertained last Saturday at the Gilbert and Sullivan evening sung by the Bosbury Players.

In addition to the usual excellent entertainment provided by the soloists and chorus, the audience appreciated the new comfortable chairs and improved car parking, the first of the long-awaited improvements to the parish hall.

The evening raised nearly £700 towards the on-going programme of refurbishment of the hall and the committee are most grateful to the Players for their continuing support.

The next production by the Bosbury Players is Charlie's Aunt from Thursday, November 30 to Saturday, December 2. Tickets will be on sale in the autumn.

On Saturday, July 22, there is a village coffee morning and farmers' market in the parish hall from 10.30am-noon. Top quality produce from local Herefordshire farms. On sale will be ice-cream, plants and hand-made cards, additional local suppliers, regular Fairtrade stall and cider from Hill Farm, Stanley Hill from Childer Wood's horse and cart outside the hall.

At Holy Trinity Bosbury on Sunday, Children's Church is at 10am.
