THE new Conservative candidate for West Worcestershire will be selected at a meeting tomorrow.
The shortlisted three, Harriett Baldwin, Andrew Griffiths and Margot James, will meet local party members who will make the choice.
A new candidate must be chosen because the existing MP, Sir Michael Spicer, is retiring at the next General Election.
Harriett Baldwin is a businesswoman who stood as a Tory candidate in Stockton in the 2005 elections. She studied French and Russian at Oxford and is head of currency management at J P Morgan Asset Management.
Andrew Griffiths, aged 36, from Dudley has been a manager for building society Halifax and has also worked as chief of staff for Tory shadow cabinet ministers.
Margot James, 49, from Leamington Spa, founded her own company, Shire Health Care, in 1986, built it up and sold it in 2003. She is currently the European president of a health advertising and PR company.
