LAST Sunday, a special service of evensong was held at St Peter's Church, Powick which was well-attended.

Visitors from Little Bisham and Cookham in Buckinghamshire travelled to join the choir, making 25 in total to lead the singing. The anthem Ave Verum by Elgar was sung by the choir, conducted by Martin Barbour, accompanied on organ by Lyndall Brown. The service was led by The Rev. Sue Irwin. Refreshments were served before and after the service.
