RIPPLE residents have the chance to put forward their views on plans for Upton Marina at a public meeting on Monday (July 17).
The meeting has been called by Ripple Parish Council, in response to concern about the detailed plans for a new marina basin and around 40 holiday lodges.
Issues worrying locals include site access, rules of ownership for the holiday lodges, management of earth removal from the new basin, recontouring the hillside and new planting and landscaping.
Marcia Proffitt, vice-chairman of Ripple Parish Council, said: "All the proposed development lies within the parish of Ripple. There's strong feeling here."
She said 200 attended a public meeting when outline plans were submitted and a similar turnout is expected this time.
Malvern Hills District Council's head of development control, David Murray, will be answering questions at the meeting, chaired by county councillor Bob Bullock.
Steve Arber, of applicants Tingdene Marinas, has also been invited to attend.
The meeting, at the Bluebell pub, begins at 7pm.
