UPTON will be feeling the blues this weekend during another popular festival.
More than 50 bands will play at 11 venues around town for the annual Blues Festival.
Festival organisers heard this week that they had been awarded £4,950 from the Arts Council to help fund the event.
The line-up includes King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, Blue Harlem, Sophie Garner and the New Breed and others.
Committee member Richard Tippin said: "With good sunshine, good music and the beautiful riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn, I can't think of a better way to spend a lazy summer day."
Entry to the festival is free and it runs from today (Friday) until Sunday, July 16.
A gospel service takes place under the bridge at 11am on Sunday, organised by Upton Churches Together. The service features the IDMC Gospel Choir, from Croydon
