AN Asian man grabbed a teenage girl and tried to kiss her in a Redditch underpass.
The 15-year-old was walking along Southcrest Road towards the underpass by B&Q on June 26 at about 9pm when the man, in his mid 20s, approached her. He tried to kiss her before running off towards the Jinnah Road store.
He was 5ft 8ins tall with short black hair worn in a centre parting. He also had a moustache and a white pigmentation mark on his right cheek. He was wearing a brown jacket and jeans.
Pc Steve Taylor, of Redditch police, said: "This was a very distressing incident for this girl and we are appealing to anyone who was in the Southcrest Road area or at B&Q on June 26 to call us if they saw anything connected to this incident.
"The offender has a distinctive pigmentation mark on his right cheek."
Witnesses can call police on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
