MALVERN Tae Kwon Do Academy has just launched a new programme designed especially for five to nine-year-old children and is offering a free one-month trial.

Chief instructor Kevin Summers, 5th Dan said that for many years children have had to cope with a very diverse and challenging grading syllabus and yet meet exactly the same grading criteria as an adult to pass.

The new Little Dragons programme is designed to test the children without them feeling out of their depth. The new structure concentrates on fundamental key skills that are presented to them in a more simplified manner.

The programme is comprehensive and rewarding for the student who if successful will receive a belt and certificate from IMA.

The new Little Dragon's uniform is fun to wear for the children, with its bright green animated dragon at the back and front of the suit and yet is consistent with the uniformity of the club.

The main objective with the new programme is to help the student build a strong character and promote self confidence.

Students also have the opportunity to develop their focus, co-ordination, learning skills and self control.

If you think this programme would benefit your child then see about your free one month trial.

Malvern Tae Kwon Do Academy also benefits from three senior ranking instructors of 4th degree black belt and above. We very much believe in one instructor for each speciality. The classes are always divided up into groups once the initial warm up has been completed.

This way the student benefits from a more personal touch rather than being just a number that makes up a class. We aim at a maximum of 10 students per instructor.

The club is friendly, welcoming and family orientated. Package family memberships are available on request. The club trains at the Chase High School gym, Geraldine Road, Malvern every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8pm.
