A SUPPORTERS club is to be started in Malvern to coincide with Hereford United's return to the Football League.
A former club folded after the 1979/80 season when The Bulls' golden era came to an end.
At its peak the club had boasted over 350 members, held regular meeting and fund-raising events in the old Winter Gardens.
The new club called HUMADS (Hereford United Malvern and district supporters) is due to hold its inaugural meeting on Thursday (July 20) at the Cross Keys Inn, Belmont Road, Malvern, at 8pm.
The club is the brainchild of fervent Hereford United fans Reg Reynolds and Dave Harford, who have put together a two-hour meeting to discuss many topics including subsidised travel, player sponsorship, social event and inter-club sports challenges.
The opening meeting is open to all with a buffet provided by licensee Ann Holden.
For more information contact Reg Reynolds on 01684 572945.
