COACH Nigel Clements believes that Bromsgrove Rovers manager Rod Brown's coaching methods are already paying off.
Rovers have only had a handful of training sessions at Parkside Middle School but Clements, who is in charge of Rovers' new under-18s team, believes the squad is working hard.
He said: "The players are really responding to the coaching sessions. We've only had a couple but they are already working very hard.
"Training is made fun by guys like Steve Ball and John Snape and they really respond to Rod's way of coaching.
"He's not one of these coaches that goes shouting at players. He's a great communicator and lets people know what he wants from them exactly.
"He's generating a great atmosphere in training and all the players are responding to it. I've never seen so many players work hard.
"Sometimes players save themselves a little bit in early training sessions so they can look good later on, but credit to the squad because they've not once tried that, they've worked their socks off."
