BLISTERING heat greeted the ladies at the Vale Golf and Country Club for the 2006 Club Championship played over 27 holes.
Rosie Loh turned up the heat even higher to claim the title for a second successive year with the best gross score of 124 points.
The runner up was Aimee Ledbury with 127, while the best net prizes went to Jackie Marks (109) and runner-up Pauline Laight (112).
