AFTER handing Stone a massive 84 extras, Badsey made light work of overtaking the visiting side's 216-7 at Ballards Park.
Only Nicholas Powell failed with the bat as young openers Adam Westmacott and Michael Powell and experienced duo Tim Evans and Mike Biltcliffe raced to victory in fewer than 26 overs to leave the winners in form contention for promotion from Division Four of the Worcestershire County League.
Nicholas Powell and Sam Thomson both took two wickets when Stone batted but an opening stand of 77 off just nine overs helped hurry Badsey to victory.
Michael Powell was first to depart after tea closely followed by his brother but 69 from Westmacott and an unbroken fourth wicket partnership of 90 in ten overs between Evans (52no) and Biltcliffe (44no) ensured an early finish last Saturday.
