BROADWAY started the week in awesome fashion trouncing a men's team from Stratford 98-42 over four rinks.
All rinks won well but Jeffery Dennis's rink was in outstanding form as they marched to a 30-8 victory.

A cloudburst at Aston Somer-ville left their green under water and last week's scheduled Willersey Provisions Cup was cancelled.
Saturday's mixed friendly game versus Worcester BC was also cancelled as the visitors were unable to raise a team.
The next day, Broadway entertained Leicester Tourists in their annual fixture.

Joan Parfitt was the best winning Broadway skip winning 29-10 closely followed by Brian Clarke (29-13). John Oliver picked up two shots on the last two ends to force a draw.

Defending County Fours champions Mark Rainbow, Dennis Hall, Dave Cresswell and Steve Aldren visited Oldington in Kidderminster last Thursday when they booked a quarter-final date with Gilt Edge after a 24-16 victory.
In the County Singles, Colin Cooper overcame Worcester's Pete Davis 21-13 to set up a clash with Gareth Burbidge in the quarter-final.
Mark Rainbow and Mick Aubrey returned from a difficult Veteran Pairs clash at Hewell with a 24-15 victory to also move into the last eight.
