A 17-year-old girl has been sent for trial after a college student allegedly suffered a four-hour torture ordeal.
The defendant, who lives in Kiddermin-ster, pleaded not guilty last Friday to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
She also denied conspiring to pervert the course of justice by giving the police false information about the origins of injuries caused to the 17-year-old Redditch student.
At an earlier hearing, Worcester Crown Court was told the student was attacked in a flat in Bromsgrove on March 23 and suffered burns to her head and stomach, had her hair singed and nose broken.
The defendant, a mother of one, was remanded in custody by Judge Alistair McCreath.
Her three-day trial is likely to take place in September at a date to be fixed.
Another 17-year-old girl and two 17-year-old youths - who all live in Bromsgrove - pleaded guilty to both of the charges.
They were remanded in custody and will be sentenced after the trial.
