WITH regard to "Our schools are deprived ones" (Letters, June 15), by Helen Donovan from the fairer funding campaign for Worcestershire schools - try and beat this!
My children's primary school, Far Forest, withheld an enormous £50,000 (13.8 per cent) from its school budget in 2005/06.
Instead of purchasing an extra teacher, my children were in a mixed age class of 36. And all in the name of the Wyre Forest Education Review.
I don't know about deprived schools in Worcestershire, I think my children's school must be the most under-funded school in England.
All parents be warned - start asking questions about how much money your school is withholding from your children's education before it's too late.
