A SERVICE providing support to families with young children now has more than 70 volunteers.
Eleven new recruits have completed their training with Home-Start Wyre Forest, equipping them with the skills to help families with children under five.
Volunteers, who are parents themselves, regularly visit families in their own homes to offer friendship and practical help.
Diane Kingston, Home-Start Wyre Forest's chairman, said: "This brings our current total of volunteers to over 70 and means we can help more local families."
More information about volunteering for or receiving support from Home-Start is available on 01562 825896.
