A CAR window was smashed when a man threw a wrench at the driver during a dispute in Stourport.
The bodywork of the vehicle was also damaged following the flare-up, when the driver sounded his horn while turning into Windermere Way.
He was then involved in a verbal exchange with the other man, who was working on his own car, a light coloured Mercedes parked on a grass verge.
He had been working under the car's bonnet when he picked up the wrench and hurled it at the other car, causing the damage.
The man who threw the tool was described as white, with a tan, in his 50s and with a close shaven head.
He had a muscular build and tattoos on his arms.
Witnesses should contact PC Andy Brooks-Davies on 08457 444888, extension 3511 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
