BEWDLEY youngsters are set to put their best feet forward to help make the world miles better for charity.
The town's Brownie and Guide division will run a special sports activity day at the Stourport Sports Club, in Kingsway on Saturday to raise money for Sport Relief.
Each Brownie and Guide will wear the Sport Relief red sock and be sponsored for the miles they cover during the event.
The total miles they achieve will contribute to Girlguiding UK's Moon Challenge target of 238,000 miles, the distance from the Earth to the moon.
Created by Comic Relief and BBC Sport, Sport Relief aims to help tackle poverty and disadvantage in the UK and across the world.
Brownie leader, Sally Davis, said: "All of our Brownies, Guides and Guiders are so eager to pull on their red socks and raise money to help vulnerable people leading tough lives in the UK and the poorest countries of the world." The event will begin at 10am.
