Wyre Forest MP Dr Richard Taylor will cut the ribbon to officially open the new activity centre on Saturday.
To emphasise the centre is for future generations, he will be helped by youngsters representing the four branches of the Scout movement.
They are James Willetts (Explorer), Raphaella Ward (Scout), Tilly England (Beaver) and Joshua Shepherd (Cub).
A VIP reception for more than 300 guests, including civic leaders and individuals and organisations who backed the appeal, will be held from 2pm-4pm.
Guests will be able to view the new building and take a tour of the site.
On Sunday there will be a two-hour open afternoon from 2pm-4pm when members of the public can take a look at the centre.
A district Scouts spokesman said: "Sunday is community day. We are grateful to everyone who supported Operation Covert and we want to throw open the doors to the whole district.
"We will be delighted to see anyone who organised or supported an event, bought tickets, made donations or those who have heard about the new facilities and would just like to take a look.
"They can have a cup of tea with us and see the results of such fantastic community support from Wyre Forest."
