CAPTAIN Nick Davies has called on his Bromsgrove CC team to take their new found confidence into their testing clash against high-flying Halesowen this Saturday.
Bromsgrove are on a high after inflicting a nine wicket thrashing on Leamington Spa last weekend.
However, Bromsgrove face a much sterner test when Halesowen come to St Godwalds in the Birmingham and District League Division One.
Davies said: "We gained a lot of confidence from the Leamington win and although Halesowen will be a much tougher prospect, if we could get something out of the game it would set up the season."
Bromsgrove's bowlers have been the team's key players all season and strong performances by the captain, Nick Husbands, Omar Ali and Zafran Ali were too much for Leamington.
"It was a great team bowling performance.
"Leamington played some bad shots but our bowling was very disciplined. Hopefully we can build on that", added Davies.
