CHADDESLEY Corbett could not match Romsley and Hunnington's run power as they were beaten by 168 runs in the Worcester League Division One on Saturday.
Corbett had no answer to Romsley's power with the willow after they had been set a target of 328 for victory.
Brothers Paul (132) and Gary Pickering (62) were Corbett's main tormentors as Romsley recorded 327-9. Chaddesley were then dismissed for 159.
Defeat left Corbett fourth from bottom - dangerously near the relegation zone.
Big hitting Belbroughton inflicted a six wicket defeat on Malvern in Division Two to enhance their chances of winning promotion on Saturday.
Alan McKenzie (4-90) and Andy Farmer (5-77) dismantled Malvern, as they were dismissed for a testing score of 257.
Dan Haywood (108) and Michael Pardoe (65) top scored as Belbrougton made 258-4. The Tons are now fourth in the table.
In the Division Three North mid-table Cutnall Green got the better of Stourbridge by 170 runs.
Neil Fletcher's 180 and Andy Morgan's 110 made sure Green recorded a formidable total of 344.
Despite an 85 by Bradley Stourbidge could only make 174 in reply.
Struggling Himbleton lost to Wormelow in the Division Three South by six wickets on Saturday.
Wright hit 91 as Himbleton reached 228 all out but Wormelow replied with 229-4.
Chaddesley Corbett take on Barnards Green at home this Saturday, while Belbroughton play Kidderminster Victoria, Cutnall go to Claverley and Himbleton are entertained by Old Elizabethans (all matches 1.30pm start).
