A LOSING draw was all Bewdley could manage at home to Eastnor in Division One despite a century from opener Andy Robinson.
Eastnor were put into bat and posted a competitve 216-9 with Chris Darby (4-30) providing the best of Bewdley's bowling.
Other contributions came from Mark Hudson (2-58), Simon Higgs (1-31) and Jack Mills (2-36) who also held on to four catches.
In reply, Bewdley got off to a solid start, putting on 91 for the first wicket through Robinson and captain Dean Wilkes.
But when the skipper went for 24, only Mills (19) showed any real support for Robinson who was eventually caught late on for 105.
l Cookley also suffered a losing draw as high-flying local Division Three North rivals Stourport got the better of them at Walshes Meadow.
After choosing to bat Stourport were disappointed with their total of 196-6 as Cookley's Simon Kirby led the attack with 4-85 in a marathon spell.
Clive Judd was Stourport's top scorer with 45, just edging Bob Pittaway (44) while Kev Haycock weighed in with 23.
In reply it seemed that Cookley would win with Paul Cartwright batting right through for his 77 not out and Gav Brown helping out with 31.
But vital wickets fell and the visitors opted to take the losing draw with the innings closing on 175-6.
Adam Sellick took two wickets for Stourport whose 13-point haul is enough to keep them second while Cookley are eighth after picking up nine points.
