ALEX Young of Oldington lifted the Badland Cup after a 21-13 victory over Gilt Edge's Rad Danks in the final of the Kidderminster & District Midweek Bowling League tournament.
John Worboys of Ombersley and Anthony Ruddy of St Georges BWP were the losing semi-finalists.
Meanwhile, in the league, Division One leaders Franche A got back to winning ways with a nine-shot victory over Stourport B.
St Johns A move into second after a win over St Johns Tiger Turf, who remain just outside the bottom two
St Johns B scored a 17-shot win over Wolverley B to open up a two point gap at the top of Division Two.
Kinver A's narrow one-shot success over bottom-placed Royal Mail A moves them into third.
Oldington C have been dropped off top spot in Division three after losing to Gilt Edge D, who move up to third.
They have been replaced at the summit by Chester Road C who enjoyed an 18-shot win over St Johns C.
In Division Four, leaders Kinver C drew at home to Gilt Edge A allowing Cookley to close the gap to one point after a win over bottom placed Bewdley E.
Division Five is headed by Oldington F after a 14-shot victory over Kinver D, while Cookley C finally scored their first win of the season, beating Oldington E by 23 shots.
