A STUDLEY woman had her handbag snatched in the village.
The woman was walking along Bell Lane on Thursday at 5.15pm when she heard a noise behind her.
As she looked over her shoulder she saw a man leaning down towards her handbag, which he then snatched and ran off towards Castle Road.
The cream canvas, half-moon shaped handbag, which has a brown leather strap, contained a Nokia 1110 mobile phone and a small brown purse containing cash and credit and debit cards.
The thief is described as a black man, 6ft tall, aged about 20 and of slim build. He was wearing a black shirt and baseball cap.
