BROMSGROVE RFC director of coaching Dean Ball is hoping his side get some points on the board when they take on Walsall at Finstall Park on Saturday (3pm start).
The Boars are bottom of the Midlands Division One after four consecutive defeats.
However, they face a Walsall side that has only recorded one win all season.
He said: "We do need the points very badly, but I'm hoping that we can finally get a much needed win.
"If we don't then things are looking very serious."
Ball has spent the free weekend looking around for new players.
He has signed Moseley prop Ian Coles on-loan from the Birmingham club and is set to look at two players from Birmingham University.
The club could be boosted if New Zealander Trent Summerville joins.
The versatile player, who can play as a winger, is set to join up with the squad early in November.
