MAY I, on behalf of bus travellers everywhere, bestow upon the town of Bromsgrove the award of Worst Bus Station in Britain bar none!
Your municipal representatives should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for allowing this festering sore on an otherwise pleasant town centre.
How many councillors travel by bus? Yes, you've got it - too few.
Should you perchance need the 143 service then, on a rainy squally day, do so at your peril. Anyone after about eight people queueing at this stand is at the mercy of the weather with the middle pane out for good measure, inadequate seating, filthy stands, no room for the drivers to manoeuvre, poor egress, you name it and it's there.
Me? I wait in the Red Lion nearby but surely it is time all the agencies, country, district, First Midland, consultative committees et al pitted their might for the traveller.
I wait with bated breath!
