Hinton 3, Evesham Utd Ladies 7
A STUNNING second half fightback saw United come from behind to earn a place in the next round of the League Soccersite Trophy.
The visitors found themselves two goals behind after only six minutes and, forced to field only ten players due to injuries and work commitments, things were looking bleak.
However, United had a stroke of luck when a suspiciously offside looking Sam Perry reduced the deficit.
Another free kick brought them a 22nd minute equaliser when Charlene McLoughlin's kick picked out Kay-leigh Hateley who netted superbly.
Three good chances went begging before Hinton regained the lead eight minutes before the break.
Whatever manager Alan Padfield had to say at half-time certainly struck a chord as Evesham assumed complete control of the second half.
Amy Summers twice went close before United hit a purple patch and netted five times in the space of 14 minutes courtesy of Perry, who completed her hat-trick, and Hateley.
After her four-goal haul of the previous week, Perry then went one better when Hateley set her up for her fifth of the game and 24th of a prolific season to round off a fabulous performance.
United return to league action on Sunday when they entertain Droit-wich Spa at Common Road (2pm).
