In a hundred years or so, the people of Evesham will not have to look in their history books to find out what Evesham was like in the 1970s. For it will all be found in a posterity box which is to be buried beneath the new extension at Wallace House Youth and Community Centre, Oat Street, Evesham. John Ray, the Evesham youth leader, told the Journal yesterday: "Members of Wallace House have come up with this idea to leave a record of what today's generation did and thought. "We want to put things in the box which are representative of Evesham in the 1970s. We are appealing to members of the community to come up with ideas for the box."
