MALVERN go into the final Midlands Two West home game of the season against Hinckley needing to secure a win to ensure no sudden death scenario at Stoke on April 22.
Bolstered by some of the returning players who went "walkabout" in the Antipodes, Malvern only lose Gareth Taylor from the side that comprehensively trounced Leamington on the last outing. James Hynes, the first returnee, will again start with former England Schools scrum-half Nick Major on the bench alongside Richard Fleming.
Director of rugby David Robins said: "Our lads have really come good for us over the last couple of months and to have some of the guys from last season coming back to bolster the squad is a real bonus. As for the Hinckley game, we were robbed by a poor decision up there early in the season. They have been a bit up and down lately but our matches against them have always been open, competitive affairs.
"They will be bringing a large and vocal support, with whom we have had great fun over the years, but on the field we will give no quarter. Malvern need to secure the points and confirm our status in this league and we would rather do it at home on Saturday than have to go to Stoke's heavy clay patch in two weeks' time.
"At present it could still be any one of three sides who fill the last relegation place. Our lads are determined and convinced that it should not be Malvern."
Kick-off at Spring Lane is at 3pm on Saturday.
