An ELEVENTH defeat of the season by a single goal leaves Evesham tottering on the rbink of relegation from the Premier Division of the Southern League.
United lost for a third successive match when Alex Sykes notched a second half winner at Common Road on Saturday.
Paul walsh had given the Romans the first half lead but Adam Blake netted an equaliser in first half stoppage-time.
Sykes made it 2-1 11 minutes after the restart but it was Evesham who came closest to netting again with Richard Ball having an effort rightly wiped out for offside and Andy Smith seeing his 76th minute 25-yarder clip the top of the Bath City crossbar.
