FORGE Mill Needle Museum is hoping to "hook" visitors with a new exhibition which runs until July 2.
The Buttonhook Society's 26th annual exhibition features an array of buttonhooks and Victorian tools which helped push buttons through stiff leather on shoes and boots.
The collections include buttons in different shapes, sizes and materials including plastic, steel and gold, as well as fashion accessories from the period.
Forge Mill keeper of collections Jo-Ann Gloger said: "This exhibition is a very unsual and 'fasten-ating' glimpse into a bygone age. The items are all incredibly beautiful and rare and well worth seeing."
