WYRE Forest residents can rekindle fond memories from their youth at a high school reunion next month.

Former Bewdley High School pupils, who are celebrating their 60th birthdays this year, are invited to a charity fund-raiser at the Stourport Road school on Saturday, April 29.

Residents are urged to bring their own drinks but a buffet will be provided.

Black Country rock and roll singer, Quincy, will also play music throughout the night. Tickets are £7 and all proceeds will be donated to Kemp Hospice.

One of the organisers of the event, Pam Wood, said: "Anyone is invited to pop along to the event but we'd particularly like to hear from anyone celebrating their 60th birthday this year. It's sure to be a good event."

Tickets are available from Pam Ward, nee Edwards, on 01299 841487 and Chris Price, nee Neath, on 01299 822332. Alternatively, they can be purchased from Cook's Florist in Bewdley.
