TWO new bus shelters have been installed in Wribbenhall as part of a scheme to encourage more people to use public transport.
The modern shelters, which have lights, have been placed on Kidderminster Road, opposite the junctions with Grey Green Lane and Spencer Avenue.
They are the first phase of a scheme by Worcestershire County Council and Opportunity Bewdley and funding has come from the Market Towns Initiative and Rural Bus Challenge.
Gordon Dwyer, projects manager at the town organisation, said more shelters would be installed at a later date in Wribbenhall and in Load Street.
He added: "It is to encourage people to use the bus and to improve the look of the town."
