TWO Kidderminster performers have danced their way into the finals of a prestigious event.
Lucinda Poulsen of Comberton Middle School and Charlotte Jones of Sutton Park First School, have qualified for the final round of the Dancer of the Year event.
Lucinda, won the under-12 championship class and Charlotte, took first place in the under-10 category at the first round held at the Jaguar Club in Coventry on Sunday, March 12.
They are both members of the Expressions School of Dance, based in the town, and will compete in the finals in Bundoran in County Donegal, Ireland in November.
Kerry Maddocks, owner of Expressions, said she was delighted with their performances, adding: "Dancer of the Year is one of the biggest three-day events in the dance calendar and it is a real achievement for Lucinda and Charlotte.
