YOUNGSTERS from a Kidderminster first school had a lucky escape when their minibus was in a three-vehicle collision in Bewdley.

The accident, which involved the Franche First School vehicle, happened just after 1.15pm on Monday.

No-one was hurt in the incident, with a silver Vauxhall Astra and a white Fiat Scudo van at Blackstone.

Franche First School headteacher, Val Weddell-Hall, said: "The children were on their way to one of their regular horse riding trips when it happened.

"We're very grateful that no-one was hurt and would like to thank everyone, including the police who responded so quickly."
