Pleasure anglers reported good catches of all species. There were a few carp feeding close in.
The Sunday Open was held on Furnace and Mill pools. The Mill produced four of the top six places, but Furnace yielded most of the back-up weights.
Sunday Open: Paul Cook (Marks Tackle) 64-8 (88), Ray Lamb (Strike Mosella) 59-15 (79), Kevin Driver (MN Autos) 47-9 (22), Colin Matthews (Furnace Mill) 46-7 (8).
The best silver fish catch was from peg 90 on Mill Pool. Tim Jones, of the Golden Maggot, landed 13lb of roach and bream.
Pellet was the most successful bait, but maggot and worm worked well too.

As from April 9, the Sunday Open times will change, to the draw at 2pm, and fishing from 3pm until 9pm.
