POTENTIAL candidates for district, town and parish council elections have until Monday to submit their nomination papers.
Wyre Forest District Council elections take place on Thursday, May 4 for 14 of the council's 17 wards.
Voters will also go to the polls for Bewdley Town Council and parish council elections in Chaddesley Corbett, Kidderminster Foreign, Rushock, Stone and Upper Arley.
Anyone interested in being a candidate can visit the council's website - www.wyreforestdc.gov - or contact the elections office on 01562 732739 for further information.
Completed nomination papers have to be returned to the elections office at Stourport Civic Centre by noon on Monday.
Voting on polling day takes place between 7am and 10pm and any elector who cannot get to a polling station can apply to vote by post or appoint a proxy.
All postal vote applications must be received by 5pm on Tuesday, April 18 and proxy applications by Tuesday, April 25.
For the first time, this year, any elector who, on health grounds, finds they will not be able to get to the polling station on election day can apply for an emergency proxy vote from the elections office.
Polling cards will be delivered from Thursday, April 13 onwards and there will be two changes to polling stations.
In the Aggborough and Spennells ward, electors will now vote at Kidderminster Harriers Social Club instead of the Scout Hut in Hoo Road.
In the Bewdley and Arley ward, a room at Ye Olde New Inn in Pound Green will be used instead of the village hall which is being renovated.
