KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Ladies are celebrating after clinching the Women's County Cup with a 3-1 victory over Hereford Pegasus.
Harriers did the damage in the first half with Nikki Palmer bagging a brace and Tiffany O'Brien also scoring in the final at Malvern Town.
Team boss Mike Kirby Davies was full of praise for his team, who sported a new kit donated by sponsors Hire-It!
He said: "It was a faultless team performance and the players thoroughly deserved it after all of their hard work."
The winning squad were: Rachel Baldwin, Kailee Hurdiss, Lynsey Pollard, Vicky Hyde, Kirsty Hughes, Vicki Roberts, Emma Bowdler, Palmer, Lisa Stokes, O'Brien, Julie Freeman, Kelly Preece, Sarah Washburn, Joanne Insley.
Their hopes of doing the double were ended when West Bromwich Albion thumped Headless Cross 10-0 to win the West Midland Premier Division title.
Harriers reserves still have a slim chance of the Worcestershire County League title despite not playing on Saturday after clear leaders Phoenix Hereford lost.
On Sunday, Harriers Reserves play host to Burlish Olympic, who are hoping to pip them to second spot.
Burlish will face Worcester in the semi final of the Hospital Cup after a 5-2 win over Evesham.
Their goals came from player of the match Carla Worrall, Debbie Prescott, Sarah Lojko,Mary Calder and an own goal.
