KCs under-sevens ran in 20 tries as they powered past Bromsgrove to win 50-25 and 50-35.

The try scorers were Lewis Morgan 4, Stuart Hare 3, Ben Bambury 3, Alexander Renton 2, Josh Mayo 2, Jack Wood 2, Luke Calcutt 1, Arthur Jones 1, Kyle Ward 1, Tom Dalton 1.

Harry Bambury, Kalem Jones and Allaster Renton deserve special mentions for their tireless teamwork.

KCs under-eights were convincing victors in their three-match showdown with Bromsgrove, winning 40-20 and 45 -30 and drawing 30-30.

The try scorers were Elliot Murphy 7, Tom Kerrigan 5, Ben Pinner 4, Tom Ford 2, Sam Faulkner 2, David Woodward 2, Bradley Hughes 1.

Two-goal Liam Harrison was player-of-the-match as KCs under-10s beat Bromsgrove 20-5.

Myles Henderson and Tom Phipps also scored in the win. Tom Mayall crossed the line in an earlier 5-5 draw with Bromsgrove.

You win some, you lose some was KCs under-11s motto as they beat Bromsgrove 26-0 before suffering a 14-7 defeat.

Charlie Hopkirk, Aaron Pooler, Francesca Short and Andrew Woodward crossed the line in the win with Alex Howman kicking three conversions.

In the defeat Mikey Quickendon scored a try which Sam Wilson converted. The under-11s will soon be going on tour to Worthing.

KCs under-12s succumbed to heavy 40-14 and 35-0 defeats to Bromsgrove despite committed performances.

The tryscorers in the first match were Declan Meddows and Tom Redfern, who added both conversions.

Several KCs' kids sides will be taking part in the Telford Hornets mini-festival at Town Park between 11am and 2.30pm on Sunday.
