IT was another hugely disappointing day for us at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

We have not been consistent and we proved that once again at the weekend. It is massively frustrating but I think you have to give some credit to Saracens. It is probably the best they have played all season.

For some reason, we haven't managed to string two wins together since Christmas and, believe me, it's hugely disappointing and extremely frustrating.

We have to look at it and try to put things right. We have got a lot of important games coming up.

It was my first game for a while but I felt nothing but disappointment. I didn't even think about the fact that it was my comeback. I fully expected to get through the game.

There has been talk that some teams are looking towards next season but I don't think that's the case with us. I certainly feel that we have still got a lot to play for this year.

It's a long season and the moment you lose focus, you lose your form.

There are no excuses. We have to make sure we don't make the same mistakes again and get back to being massively enthusiastic.

We have based our game on being a hard-working team and we have lost our way a little bit.

It's hard to put our finger on what went wrong but we need to get it right for Northampton in the European Challenge Cup at the weekend.

Saints will be a very tough proposition. When you look at their results recently, they are very much one of the form teams.

At this point in the season there is not a lot of difference between Premiership and Cup. The way that we prepare and the focus and the importance of the game is pretty similar.

We will prepare for this game in exactly the same way we would for a Premiership game. Every game is hugely important. We have always had a good focus on the Cup.

It's not like we are changing our focus. We've maintained that throughout the competition. So, from that perspective, it's a massive game.

It's going to be an interesting game. Going to Franklin's Gardens is always a big test for us and it's going to be a big mental challenge for us.

It seems like we play Northampton every week. And they get better every time we watch them. Carlos Spencer is a big danger and then you have got a good back line capable of tearing you apart.

But if we go there and we are hugely committed, we are in with a chance!
