The withdrawal of labour by Unison members on Tuesday will have saved their employers a great deal of money because striking members will not be paid.
Surely Councils have a moral obligation to pass on these savings to residents by means of a proportionate reduction in Council Tax bills. On this assumption I, for one, am happy for council employees to go on strike as often as they like.
