RUGBY LEAGUE: Redditch Ravens have a new home for the coming season.
The club will share Woodrush's Hopwood facilities, starting with weekly training sessions that start tonight.
Club chairman David Parsons said: "We are delighted to announce we have reached agreement with Woodrush Rugby Club to use their facilities for the Ravens' second season in the Total RL Conference.
"After last season's partnership with Studley FC, the committee felt that moving to a rugby union club would be more beneficial in the the long run.
"A number of local clubs approached the Ravens but Woodrush came up with the best proposition and there was also tremendous interest in the Ravens last season from the Woodrush players."
Anyone interested in linking up with the Ravens should head to Woodrush for tonight's training from 7.30pm.
An inter-schools rugby league tournament will be held in Redditch for the first time tomorrow.
Three schools from the town and one from Halesowen will converge on Redditch Rugby Club for the competition.
