TENNIS: The Prudden Road Surfacing Junior League starts this week for youngsters up to 12.
The competition will run to June with teams placed in pools.
A finals night will be held in early July between the winning teams from each of the four pools. The top two teams will then go through to the regional final at Stratford Tennis Club in September.
This year will see Bidford in Pool A, Studley and Tanworth in Pool B while Alcester and Inkberrow's A and B teams will be in Pool D.
Wythall B took their unbeaten run to six matches in Division Three of the Stratford Winter League following a 4-0 win over Beckford.
Opening pair Joe Singleton and Rob Blair had a tough battle but came from behind to win 5-7, 7-5, 6-4. Things were more straightforward for the second pair, Kevin Turner and Mathew Smith running out 6-4, 6-3 winners.
The reverse rubbers saw Wythall power to the points with Blair and Singleton winning 6-3, 6-2 and Turner and Smith taking the final match 6-1, 6-4.
