STUDLEY have responded to their manager's call not to let their standards slip with a welcome unbeaten week.
Bees boss Kevin Rowlands said his players' pride should be enough motivation for the club as they strive to improve on last season's finish.
And his rallying cry was heeded as Oldbury United were put to the sword 2-0 last Tuesday and a Stratford Town side being rebuilt by former Reds favourite Dennis Mulholland played their part in a 2-2 draw at Masons Road on Saturday.
Rob Ager bagged both goals in the midweek clash and the midfield maestro was also on the scoresheet at Stratford before Andy Johnson struck a last minute equaliser.
Rowlands' charges have the chance to make up further ground on the teams above them in a busy spell of the Midland Alliance season as they take on two of the teams who appear doomed to the drop this week.
The Bees were set to visit third-from-bottom Westfields night in an unappetising midweek long haul to Herefordshire.
And second-from-bottom Cradley Town are the visitors on Saturday.
